Blaine Student to Compete in America’s Beauty Show Student Competition
Blaine, MN, 3-5-2013 — Local Regency Beauty Institute student Cameron Clochie from our Blaine campus will compete as a finalist in the Wella® Student Competition at America’s Beauty Show on March 11 in Chicago, IL.
America’s Beauty Show has been produced for 90 years by members of Cosmetologists Chicago. ABS includes a large exhibit of professional tools and products, competitions for students and salon professionals and headliners including Tabatha Coffey, Kim Vo and Tracey Hughes. Exhibitors include Wella®, Redken®, American Crew® and many more.
Almost 500 students from 37 different cosmetology schools from around the country submitted entries to the Wella® Student Competition. Twenty-four finalists were chosen to compete at America’s Beauty Show on March 11. Winners are chosen in three categories, and first place winners are awarded $1,000. In 2012, Regency Beauty Institute students took first place in the Wella® category and second place in the Sebastian category.
